Prince Harry: Jeremy Vine panel clash over Duke’s title
Readers voted in our poll after the Duke of Sussex – who quit royal duties with Meghan Markle last year – launched his latest attack on the Royal Family in a podcast interview. This website asked if Harry, who is now living in California, should be stripped of all remaining royal links such as his Sussex title following the outburst.
A staggering 98 percent of respondents (46,542) said yes, with just two percent (944) disagreeing. Some 178 people opted for the “don’t know” option.
This website also asked if MPs should start proceedings to remove the Queen’s grandson from the line of succession, where he is in sixth place.
A huge 96 percent of respondents (45,590) thought he should be taken out, while three percent (1,420) said no. Some 654 people said they did not know.
Commenting on the poll, one reader fumed: “He should have been stripped of his titles after the first attack.

A fifth said: “It should have been done when they departed the UK. It has all gone beyond a joke.”
One more commented: “This saga of whether Harry should be stripped of his remaining titles will never happen and Harry knows it that’s why he pushes the boundaries.
“Unless the Queen, and Charles, put their foot down and do it, the monarchy is in danger of people losing all respect and if that happens then it’s goodbye to the monarchy.”

He also trashed his father Prince Charles’s parenting skills, saying he wanted to “break the cycle” of the “pain and suffering” of his upbringing with his own children.
Harry said: “There is no blame.
“I don’t think we should be pointing the finger or blaming anybody, but certainly when it comes to parenting, if I’ve experienced some form of pain or suffering because of the pain or suffering that perhaps my father or my parents had suffered, I’m going to make sure I break that cycle so that I don’t pass it on, basically.
“It’s a lot of genetic pain and suffering that gets passed on anyway so we as parents should be doing the most we can to try and say ‘you know what, that happened to me, I’m going to make sure that doesn’t happen to you’.”

He added: “It’s hard to do but for me it comes down to awareness. I never saw it, I never knew about it, and then suddenly I started to piece it together and go ‘OK, so this is where he went to school, this is what happened, I know this about his life, I also know that is connected to his parents so that means he’s treated me the way he was treated, so how can I change that for my own kids?’
“And here I am, I moved my whole family to the US, that wasn’t the plan but sometimes you’ve got make decisions and put your family first and put your mental health first.”
